This solid wood shelf is extremely sturdy and has a beautiful wood grain pattern. Each shelf has its own naturally unique look. These shelves are 9” deep and come in the choice of two sizes; 12” and 18”. The 12" wide version of these shelves can be used as stepping stones for cats to get to other structures or perches around the house. The larger 18" wide shelf can be used by cats as a place to lounge, relax and observe the room from above. We attach two brackets to each shelf. One is meant to be mounted into a stud and one will be mounted with drywall anchors. When screwed into a stud, these shelves are very strong and have been tested to hold 85 lbs. All our furniture includes screws and drywall anchors.Dimensions: Total width: 18" Total height: 5.5" Depth: 9"Catastrophic Creations Solid Wood Shelving is made from solid pine and metal brackets. Our products are handcrafted in the USA. This piece comes assembled, but requires mounting on a wall. The 18” Shelf will have brackets spaced 16” apart, to mount into studs. All of the brackets come attached for easy installation. Our furniture also comes with all necessary screws and drywall anchors to install into studs. If your studs are spaced differently or you do not want to use studs, you can also mount the shelving up using 1/8” x 2” Toggle Bolts to sturdily mount our shelving into drywall. These Toggle Bolts would need to be separately purchased.
